It was my first visit to this area of Srilanka and the scenery in this area is far different from the rest. The tall buildings and security of this area were high. However, they lets us pass every checkpoint smoothly when we say Maldivians and going to the star hotel. The way they respect others and how they confront with the public is far different from that of Maldives.
The amazing and warm welcome with the yummy yummy meal was fantastic. The staffs are friendly and their personalities are well suited for a charming hotel like it.
I happened to visit Hilton and Ceylon continental too. Unfortunately, the restaurents were closed and silence was what welcomed us.
Anyways, it was a pleasure meeting the staffs at Taj Samudra and having spent an unforgettable day with you and my family here is Srilanka.
Looking forward to see you soon and if i am lucky enough, will visit the others too.

ASSIGNMENTS....Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

One and a half months without much academic works and it was like soo easy..... And here comes the assignments one after the other..... During the fasting period, the month of Ramazan, gives an inner strength with the blessings of Allah, helping in each and every aspects of life...

To seek knowledge is a sacred duty, it is obligatory on every Muslim, male and female. The first word revealed of the Qur’an was "Iqra" READ! Seek knowledge! Educate yourselves! Be educated.

Islam is our greatest gift. We have to be thankful for this gift. We have to render to Allah His due. Allah has given us so much by making us a part of the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (S) so we must totally commit ourselves as followers of the Prophet (S). We must become true Muslims.

It had been days since I haven't gone through the blog... cox, my hubby was here and spent all the time with him..... My hubby was here from 2nd to 21st August .... Happy days and he left :-( ...... Nick name as "POKO", Mariyam Haleem is one of the best overall volleyball players of Maldives.
Though she is not very tall like me, she is a good spiker, good defense player, good server and a well disciplined player.

I was so nervous and feeling so uncomfortable with a short party dress which i didn't wear usually. well, this is my first time hosting a show. :P . without any practice, just bumped on the stage at the first night of the show where invited guests and attendees ... oh, its hard to express ...

anyways, managed to end the show bit formally as there were many respected invitees.

The second show was a fun, cheering night with much cheer-leaders who rocked the floor. And this night had been adventurous as the show was fully recorded by TVM and was webcasting on police website.

As this night went with joy, the management team of the show made the decision that one more show again..ooops!!! again a new dress and applying make-ups... boring stuffs.. going to the saloon

The last show was much about thanksgiving and awarding certificates to the best dance and role play and so on. I couldn't have done this without the advices and kind help from the above two friends, aathi and fathih.. they were pretty good at presenting... thanx a lot

Nobody can imagine how much i miss u, my damty. It had been years since we were together singing the same melody. For instance, it is painful to believe that I am far from u..

I hav never expected of a man who would treat me like u do.. your persistent caring didn’t let me go into a pathetic situation.. you had always been humble, self-effacing and respectful.. Even though we stumble on hard rocks on our tough journey to a successful life, u have played the key role of my life… u stood me up and inspired me by showing the straight road ahead.. U never let me down in any circumstances, which made my precious life to rely on u …

Changes are inevitable. As we granted to embark our journey together, we had the obligations and commitments ahead of us which are meant for us and our loveliest life. We made success spending more than a year with no unsolved hindrances.

Dhooni, u r so special in my life that it’s hard to spend even a single minute without u nearby me.. U r more than a gift and u have been my closest friend.. U r my best friend and u r the best best parent I have ever seen .. I dream one day my kid will say “mom, my dad is the best best dad in the world” which goes to u babe.

Surprise party ..................

It was 1:00 am in the early morning. I was at the balcony of my sweet room, day dreaming, while my lovely dumty arrived. At the moment he asked me about today's date. Without any hesitation, I gave the answer. It was when he asked me the month, I realized that its his birthday which I completely forgot. I felt desperate and sorry for himself that I could not remember. Well, I believe now that it might happen. lol

I was so silent the whole night that I needed to apologize. I aimed to move forward to give him a surprise.

In the evening of 8th June 2009, with our friends and the sweet family we lived with, we hanged on at pizza hut, as a treat from my husband. For instance, I felt that my surprise is not going to work. Fortunately, it worked out and my hub was so surprised to see the cake and the gift I bought for him.

The interesting point to be noted here is that the rest of the gang who joined the pizza's were even surprised. At last, I managed to have a happy ending.

DEEP BREATH >>> FEEL RELAXED

It is coool,,, fun and people are so friendly here in Srilanka... I went to the college to get my VISA letter and met the Asst.Sales Manager of ICBT city campus.... She was friendly, talkative and helpful as like others .. Moreover, met many Maldivian students studying at the campus... They were all very busy preparing for the inaugration ceremony of the Maldivian Students Council .. It was a great idea which my colleagues initiated.. No doubt that this council will help the Maldivian students currently at ICBT and those who wants to join even ... I always dreamt of studying since I finished my AL at CHSE-Maldives... Just after studies, joined Maldives Police Service,, and never got the chance to.. This time, I am lucky to get everything fixed within days ... At this moment also, I assure my parents and my husband that I will fulfill your wishes, ur hopes and my dreams will come true .. insha allah ..

I am glad that my hubby is here with me ... He had been of gr8 help as usual ... Honey,,, thanxxx loadssssss to u for takin every step of life with me ... Without u, I wudn't hav been who I am now... mmmmmmmmmwaaah .. thanxxx

Its 4 da first time in these yrs am leavin them ... i miss ma liiitttle bro soooo much ... havin headache since i came here ... all da time, roamin around,,, searchin 4 a gud place to stay .. lanka is different .. in most of the aprtmnts, there is no attached toilets ... so borin ... but stil, there r gud places even ... but hav to pay 6 months o 1 yr advance ... manage to b here .. ma frends r helpin .. thanx to all f them ... spcially sheikh, hussain, niya, mode n marie ...
