Its been more than a year since I have not even opened my blog. Me and my husband have been just a family of two when i wrote my last post here. Friends, so so much happened in my life in the past year. It is not easy to mention it in just one post. But let me just put the summaries here:-
1. Completed Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business and Management and it was accredited as well. 
2. Back to Office and working in the field of finance and accounting. 
3. The major story is that I am a mother of a lovely daughter now. And she is four months old now. 

I am going to post the many milestones which I have achieved frequently, insha allah... As for now, say this is a new beginning again and I dedicate my blog hereafter to my one and only loving daughter Aishath Yoomee Ali Ahmed. She fills my days with joy, happiness and fun ... I love you so so much my angel mimmi... hugs

:::: Badly craving for T>O>B>L>E>R>O>N>E ::::

Out of the many chocolates which I have tasted, toblerone (white) gave me such a special and delicious taste that now it had become a part of my life... i so so adore this piece of chocolate =)

well, i am out of stock at the moment and eagerly waiting for tomorrow night as my better half is going to visit me ... U r a charm my hubby and waiting for this delicious charm along with you =)...so people, if you are interested in giving me a gift, take this as a hint...

:::: Barbeque on 19.06.2011 ::::

We r not the kind of people who pre-plan activities... we are very much Just In Time.. hehe =P.... well, it was a boring lecture that day, so we quit the class during break saying that we need to go to embassy (great excuse..LOL) for a meeting. what we finally ended up was in Majestic Cinema for the movie " The Pirates of the Caribbean"... such a funny movie with the captain Jack Sparrow and his weird character... i must say i loved it to the maximum..
on the way back to home after movie, we decided to have a barbecue that night itself.. by then, the time was seven in the evening... however, we made preparations and had an awesome barbecue which my friend niya stated " Great night with great people".. these people are of so much great sense of humor that i love spending time with them...it was indeed a great night and sweet memory to cherish... Love yew all and will miss yew all... Niya, Marie, Mazin, Amradh and Ziya =)... such good company

:::: toughest 3 months ::::

the toughest months of the last two years were last three months ... this was my final 3 months of the undergraduate program and currently i am almost done with the modules... i have three more exams and one assignment left, yet enjoying the life at an easy mood... i am not into studies lately since start of this program... i have become so lazy and careless that i do every work or assignment just at the day of submission and i don't get enough time to have a second glance at what i wrote... i feel bad now =(... anyways, i hope i get through the exams and assignments at an average level.. so far, i have got only one module results and it was average and i am content with the mark.. So, How have you all been lately =)..

I have more posts waiting to be posted and will do so in like two weeks time... I have traveled to few places and had gatherings elsewhere and i haven't told you all bout this.. well, don't worry i will post them soon :)...

:: Birthday Bash ::

its too late to even talk about my birthday... nevertheless, i prefer to share few moments which i have enjoyed during my 24th b'day on 9th february 2011....
with a tight sleep dreaming of the happiest ever bride in the world, i started my day.. with all those phone calls from my relatives and loved ones, i was not awakened frm the sleep... its me o them who were unlucky that they cannot wish me exactly at 12 in the midnight which they have been hankering for... i am sorry guys...
in the fairy tales, the prince comes and kisses the sleeping princess on the bed... with much happiness and pride, i must say that the same thing happened to me early in the morning.. i dnt knw from where my husband dropped in early morning waking me up with a huge hug and a kiss... i love u my better half for making me so special.. my love for u is undefined...
well, i was amused and surprised again ven i came out of the room... my inmates were ready to cut the cake and i was like, wait a minute.... hehe :P
This was the best birthday I have ever had and the whole day was full of fun... it was all blasts... :D... the afternoon party arranged by the two kokkies were well to be thanked... thanx a lot for ur hard work to make it a surprise though i knew everythn u did.. though i didn admit..

:: speghetti bolognaise ::

On 3rd February 2010, myself and kudoo went to pizza hut as we were craving for spaghetti bolognaise at Pizza Hut... believe me, it is extremely delicious... i enjoy it every time I visit Pizza Hut...
but vats most special in dis visit was that i met one of my cousin brother inside pizza hut near Majestic City.... He was with his wife and it surprised me to see him there.. though we don't meet often and it had been years since we haven't met and he is in nature, not a relationship person.... i said hi and talked a bit when i saw him and went to a table bit far from where they were sitting.. i felt a bit uneasy as he was there inside...
we ordered spaghetti bolognaise and desserts and coke and were waiting for our order when my cousin approached me to say that he is leaving and dat "he paid my bill"... i was surprised to hear dis as dis was nt his usual behavior and within me i said" ow, i wish i meet such pple everyday who would pay my bills"....

:: BABM::

On 16th January 2010, I have started my final year of Degree which is a program of UK... Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business and Management program offered by University of Wales, Institute of Cardiff (UWIC) is the program I am following and this is roughly around 10 months program... The program consists of two semesters and six modules.. Therefore, I would be doing three subjects in a semester ...
In a blink of eyes, First Degree is going to be achieved.. Everything is happening so fast that insha allah , I would be done with my first degree within no time with flying colors... I hope that you all are with me and please, pray for me .... I wish to put my full effort on my studies lessening other concerns ...

:: A huge Milestone ::

Time flies so soon... it was like i started my Higher studies yesterday... But it is the truth that I am done with the Edexcel BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business and Management ... Within the duration of one and half years, I have completed 16 modules ... However, our graduation is to be held in August 2011..
You all would be wondering about my results.. I will try to upload a copy of my transcript when I receive the final copy... For now, let me tell you that with 14 Distinctions and 2 merits, I am the batch top of the program...
This is a very huge achievement for me, cox I believe I have done a superb job in the last one and half years of pay leave from my job... i am super duper excited to know about my results and I will try to keep scoring...
The most happiest matter is that I have quit playing volleyball for this year in order to pay my full attention on studies.. and i proved that I did so...
Whatever I do, I wanna do it in the bestest way ... At this fine moment, I wanna thank all the people who have helped me in my studies... specially to all the lecturers who were immensely helpful in delivering the lecturer and aiding at anytime needed.. moreover, to all my colleagues , specially all the Maldivian friends at our batch for believing in me and treating me like the way you all did.... Also, the super 6 team, (Malika, Geshan, Amjad, Tikka, Lasitha) for having such a close relationship with me and treating me like a family... i would never forget you all... xoxo
And to my family members and my husband for always asking me to do assignments and pushing me towards my studies.. Love you all from the bottom of my heart..

:: physical workout ::

To be honest, i have gained more than 5kgs during the vacation i had for the last two months ... so at the end of 2010, this was a huge gain for me.. huh... :P..
Anyways, its time for me to start losing.... and the first step in this regard is routine physical training in a gym... I have joined "power world", a gym located in Dehivala, Sri Lanka... I was lucky to have joined the gym in a special offering of Rs.5000 per year... yes, believe it or not... it is so cheap and why should i lose a chance like this.......
Dates and time are flexible and therefore, myself and two of my friends have decided that we would be going early in the morning everyday except sundays... and here we go, we are on the schedules so far starting from 19.01.2011........
wish us good luck .... i am starting from 60 kgs and my target is 50 kg.... nuthn big, i guess... :D ...

:: Back from India ::

Well, I have been out of country for a while from 7th November to 15th November... My sis in law felt sick which made my brother, nephew and myself to take her to India... we took a direct flight to Trivandrum from Male'... we were very lucky to have got a seat to fly by waiting for around half an hour in the waiting list... actually, we had contacts which made it so easy to travel...
we stayed at Cosmos Inn which was quite a very normal hotel but was very close to the main places which we wanted to visit... our favorite restaurant was very close by, umm around one minute walk... hehe :P
We consulted some doctors from KIMS hospital and it was easy and fast service... we were not to stay so long as i used to stay in front of the doc's room door and bump in when doc is free... With so much luck, we were told by the doctor that there is no major problem.. so there we go, to the shopping bazaar and malls ..
we went to chaalaa bazaar, palayam bazaar and yea, BIG bazaar too.... My favorite came out to be Chaalaa as we bought lots of muslim women items from there.... yet, BIG Bazaar was also ok as there are all sorts of items from one building....
More to go, we also visited Cochin which is a very familiar city for Maldivian as we have a history with them, mostly interms of shopping...
Visiting the bazaars at Cochin and talking to some of the citizens out there was very interesting... what made me surprising was that they identified us not as Maldivians, but as people from Lakshadheeb... :P
We have enjoyed each and every bit of the trip... lotss and lottss of things happened and i will share many more .... jux wait for some more pictures

guys, this is the very official announcing of my departure to Maldives tonight..... yes, i am leaving tonight.... my very close frends, niya and amradh would accompany me....

we have been working very hard for the past one month for today... actually, our final assignment is to be submitted on 19th of this month... but, with sleepless nights, we are going to submit it today and will be leaving tonite.... the earlier the better for us cox our families and better half are in Maldives....

really excited to know that i would be in my husbands arm tonite.... and itss gona be a huge break,.... most probably, i wud b back by March next year.... huge huge break !!!!

gona enjoy each and every moment of this precious holiday.... will keep u ol updated with the plans...

i have been living in Sri Lanka with a friend of mine "Kudoo" and her daughter "kokky"... we are jux like a family and i really dnt feel so much like missing home when i am here... One of the very keen interests of kudoo is gardening... so here, i wana show you some of the picx of the trees in our garden... it is mostly chilli trees and roses..... actually, i am not so interested in gardening, yet i help my friend cox she admires gardening...

:: Trip to Sambodhi Home ::

Managing activities to achieve results is one of the very last modules of our course BTEC HND in BM... This module gives us an insight to the practical implications of a charity project, grievances and handling them.... we have selected an elders women home as the place to raise funds for.... 33 mentally handicapped women were taken care of by two old ladies at Baddegama, near by Galle and hikkaduva, Sri Lanka.... a successful project completed within the given period of three months...

to donate the raised funds and promised supportive materials for the elders home, we went there on August 11, 2010... a trip filled with joy and happiness not onli cox it was fun, but also for being able to lend a hand to let the residents of Sambodhi help themselves and put a smile on their faces...

Aroo and Poko had been my all time favorites of volleyball since I started playing volleyball. They have been my idols as I believe that they are the best receivers and defenders of the game currently in Maldives. In addition to, they cannot be beaten by anyone if you talk about discipline. This is what makes them both special for me and I love you both girls.

Moreover, Poko had been my my best friend since she started playing for police club; my team. She has always been an inspiration and helped me in all aspects. Thank you pox :D xoxo

Now back to the actual topic. well, i wana congratulate my two besties for the achievement by both of you in beach volleyball at national tournament in Maldives and representing Maldives in Chennai, India in the 2012 Olymipc games beach volleyball qualification.

VAM Award Night 2008 was the most beautiful night for me in my sports carrier. Though I have been nominating for almost all the volleyball awards, I have never got a chance to raise a trophy this huge and value yet. and it was on this beautiful night i have won the award for the Best 3 women player 2008 by Volleyball association of Maldives.

I have never expected a title like this as I personally believe that I am a very junior player in Maldives. More than that, as to the fact believed commonly, i am a short player who would not or might not get this sort of a title.

I was flawlessly inspired and joyed to the fact that I won this award not just because it was for myself but also because I have proved that defense players are also appreciated for their playing.

I would like to take this moment to express my sincere gratitude to both coaches of my team, Nadheem and Fallo coach and also the management of Police club for giving me guidance and support in the field. Also, I do not forget my fellow players who have helped in every aspect to make me a perfect person. My heartfelt gratitude to you all. I shouldn't have been able to carry this award without your immense support.

:: Sri Lanka Air force museum visit ::

it was our colleague wisham's idea to visit Sri Lanka Air force museum at Rathmalana... exploring the different varieties of space ships, helicopters, weapons, army attires and different vehicles being used in different terrorist attacks was a dream for all of us.... at a low price, we were entered to the museum after a long walk.... by having a quick glance at the entire place, all the tiredness vanished and enlightened by the restaurant inside the museum...
